Tony began his career at American Hospital Supply Corporation, holding positions of increasing responsibility at successor companies Baxter International, Allegiance Healthcare, and Cardinal Health. Directly or through affiliations, The Kesman Group makes healthcare investments in and provides advisory services to both publically and privately held healthcare distribution, manufacturing, and service companies.
Tony currently serves on the boards of directors of The Scrip Companies, Southern Anesthesia and Surgical, Inc., and Aperture Inc. Previously, he was a member of the boards of BarrierSafe Solutions International, Drayer Physical Therapy Institute, Focused Health Solutions, MedAssist, and Suture Express. He was a founding director of Source Medical Corporation, Canada’s largest medical supply distributor, and completed two terms as a director of the Health Industry Distributors Association (HIDA) Educational Foundation. He is also a member of the board of the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital, Junior Achievement of Chicago, and formerly, the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. Tony is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago.
